Making memories: The perfect multi-generational holiday at Riddlesworth Park Campsite

A space for everyone

What makes Riddlesworth Park so unique is the way families of all shapes and sizes can find their space. If your family includes both younger adventurers and older generations looking for comfort, we’ve got you covered. While most people pitch a tent, we’ve found that older generations often enjoy the comfort of a motorhome or camper van (although we don’t have motorhome charging points so make sure you’re fully charged when you arrive).

Whether you’re a fan of traditional camping or prefer the comfort of a motorhome, our campsite offers the best of both worlds. You and your loved ones can enjoy the great outdoors without sacrificing the things that make you feel at home. And the best part is you’ll have the entire campsite to yourselves, giving your family plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy each other’s company without the distractions of crowded campgrounds.

I still remember the first cinema trip I went to with my granny – we were all on holiday together and went to see Hook. I suppose cinema trips weren’t as common as they are now, but I loved it, and it’s stayed with me for years. At Riddlesworth Park, we believe that holidays are about more than just getting away from it all – they’re about making lasting memories with the people you love most. There’s something truly special about bringing together different generations of a family for a shared experience in the great outdoors. Whether you’re planning a family reunion or just looking for a weekend getaway, a multi-generational holiday at our campsite is the perfect way to spend quality time with your loved ones, no matter your age.

Quality time, together

Imagine waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and the fresh air of the countryside, surrounded by your entire family. The day is yours to create beautiful memories – whether it’s a family breakfast around the campfire, an afternoon exploring the nearby countryside, or cozying up for a family game night in the comfort of The Barn.

Spend the morning hiking the scenic trails together, followed by a peaceful afternoon of lounging by the campfire or taking part in fun outdoor activities. The kids can enjoy the freedom of exploring the woodland play area, while the grandparents can relax in the comfort of their motorhome, enjoying the view or reading a book. This kind of multi-generational holiday allows everyone to enjoy the pace and comfort they prefer, all while bonding in nature.

A break from the ordinary

Multi-generational holidays offer the perfect opportunity to break away from the routine of everyday life and reconnect as a family. Whether you’re making s’mores under the stars, telling stories around the fire, or simply enjoying each other’s company during a peaceful evening, the memories you create together will last a lifetime. The beauty of a campsite is that it provides a shared space where everyone can connect, no matter their age or camping style.

At Riddlesworth Park, we pride ourselves on offering an unforgettable family experience. Whether you’re planning a relaxing weekend or an adventurous holiday, our campsite is the perfect destination for making memories that will last a lifetime. Bring together the whole family, from toddlers to grandparents, and enjoy a holiday designed to strengthen bonds, spark joy, and create memories you’ll cherish forever.
